Alli Hails FC Halifax As He Becomes Latest Starlet To Step Up

Millenic Alli says he is desperate to become the latest National League player to shine in the EFL after securing a switch to Exeter City.

The FC Halifax Town attacker has joined the list of talented players to step up this January and is determined to make an impression at the League One Grecians.

He agreed a two-and-a-half year deal at St James Park after the two clubs came to an agreement with the Shaymen fans sad to lose the quick forward.

But the Irishman is excited by the challenge and hailed his old club for giving him the chance to showcase his skills.

"Halifax is a great club and they do well to improve players and give you lots of minutes, and it just goes to show,” he told Exeter’s website after securing a move.

"Having spoke to the manager, we have the same plan and I am looking forward to making magical things happen. It feels fantastic to be here, I've been waiting a long time as it's been a good few days to get this done.

“I'm really looking forward to the challenge of the step up to the league, and showing everyone what I can do. League One has always been a tough league but I'll be trying my best and working hard."
