All You Need To Know: FA Cup 2nd Round Draw

There are 12 Non-League teams in the hat this evening with eight of them guaranteed to be taking part in the second round.

Nine Vanarama National League sides remain - five of them booked their place in the next stage over the weekend.

Replays include: Tranmere Rovers v Peterborough United (Nov 15th), Accrington Stanley v Guiseley (Nov 14th) and Bury v Woking (Nov 14th).

The National League North's Chorley host Fleetwood Town, of League One, LIVE on BT Sport this evening, kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Oxford City are the only National League South club still left in the competition after they won 1-0 at League Two side Colchester United. They haven't reached the second round for 48 years which equals their best ever cup run.

AFC Fylde are into the second round for the first time in their history after beating National League North side Kidderminster Harriers 4-2.

The National League's Boreham Wood and Maidstone United have equalled their best FA Cup runs by reaching this stage.

The Wood dramatically toppled League One giants Blackpool while there was plenty of drama in the Stones' tie too - they won 4-2 at Cheltenham Town, of League Two, as both teams finished with ten men.

Steve Watson's Gateshead overcame Chelmsford City, of the National League South, to move into the second round.

Second round ties will take place across the first weekend of December, 1st-4th, with a total of 40 teams aiming to make round three when the Championship and Premier League teams enter the competition.
