All Saturday’s National League South Action

It was another good day for the leaders as they won - and most of the chasing pack couldn’t.

Wealdstone’s 3-0 victory over Billericay wasn’t unexpected. The side with a near flawless home record against the side with the worst away points tally went the way of form.

Ross Lafayette’s classy double made sure the Stones stay seven points clear.

Slough Town were the only other contenders to win and they are second after returning from Welling United with maximum reward.

Dan Roberts was at the double to end the Wings' three-match winning run and confirm a 2-1 win for the Rebels in Kent.

Bath City excellent home run came to a shuddering halt to leave them now 12 points off the lead.

St Albans ran out 3-0 winners at Twerton Park as goals from Solomon Nwabuokei, Joe Iaciofano and Zane Banton stunned the hosts and gave the Saints’ season a huge lift.

There was also a surprise at Princes Park as in-form Dartford lost 2-1 to Hampton, whose away form is keeping them in the promotion hunt.

Ryan Hill’s finish from a tight angle to turn things around - and the Beavers are now four points from the play-offs.

Ten-man Havant & Waterlooville dug deep and claimed a point against Dulwich with neither side able to get a goal.

Weymouth were denied deep into stoppage time as Eastbourne Borough left it late to claim a 2-2 draw.

Nat Jarvis was the match winner as Chippenham pulled clear of the relegation places with a 1-0 win at Hemel Hempstead.

Justin Amaluzor was the hero for Maidstone - they kept on the heels of the top seven as they edged past Braintree.
