Alfreton Extend Wood`s Deal

Alfreton Town have confirmed that Bradley Wood has extended his deal with the club until the end of the 2018/19 season.

Wood, a Reds favourite, returned to the Impact Arena for his second spell in early August 2017 and has featured in nine of the Reds eleven league games this season.

Wood joined the Reds for his first spell in May 2013 on a one-year deal and started on the opening day of the 2013/14 season against Dartford before scoring his first goal in a defeat to Braintree Town.

He featured in forty-nine of the club`s fifty games in the 2013/14 season and was named the supporters` player of the season; he would then sign a two-year contract keeping him at the Impact until 2016.

A move to Lincoln City followed at the start of the 2015/16 season for an undisclosed fee after Alfreton`s relegation from the Conference Premier in the 2014/15 campaign.

Wood would make forty appearances in the 2015/16 season before playing a crucial role during the Imps promotion and Emirates FA Cup run of last season in which Wood played against both Burnley and Arsenal in the competition.
