Alexander Makes His Move As Salford Snap Up Hemmings

Salford City have added winger/striker Ashley Hemmings to their squad.

The attacker made a big impact at Boston United where he was named player of the season, writes Tom Feaheny.

During his career so far he has featured in the Championship, League One and Two before he joined the Pilgrims.

He spent his youth career at Wolves and had loans spells at Cheltenham Town, Torquay United and Plymouth Argyle.

He also made nearly 80 appearances for Dag & Red when they were in League Two.

"When I found out Salford were interested in me it was a no-brainier," Hemmings told the club's website.

"It is a succesful club and I want to be a part of the journey to get the side into the Football League."
