Alexander: Ammies’ Impressive Showing Was All For The Fans

Salford City have been delighting fans of late with their performances at the Peninsula Stadium, writes Tom Scott.

And Graham Alexander wants his side to carry that form on the road with them.

The Ammies’ boss said: “I’m pleased with what I saw. We were a little bit frustrated and disappointed with our showing away on Saturday.

“We wanted to come here and put on a show for our fans and I thought we did that.

“It thought today was a proper football match to be honest. You have to do both sides of the game to win and I think we did that well today.

“It’s been a good weekend, we’ve got four points from two games and we now need to replicate our home form when we’re away - If we do that, we’ll win games.”

After a good Bank Holiday weekend, Salford find themselves mid table but will no doubt have the top seven in their sights.
