Ainsley Wants Better Start For Spennymoor Replay

Spennymoor Town boss Jason Ainsley says his side need to start like they ended the first game against East Thurrock United.

The two sides meet again with a place in the next round of the FA Trophy on the line, writes Tom Feaheny.

A trip to Workington or Bromley is on the line and the chance of potentially getting £10,000 in prize money if they can make it to the semi-final.

"It was mixed emotions for me, the first-half we weren't good enough, the second-half we were," Ainsley told the club's website.

"It felt a little bit flat, we have to do it again on Tuesday night now, we have fallen short of the standards we have set.

"We have got good players, we were second to every ball and challenge during the first-half.

"We scored a great goal and Johnson has done it again, now we look forward to the replay.
