Ainsley Proud After Spennymoor's Trophy Triumph

A 2-0 win against National League side Solihull Moors left Jason Ainsley delighted.

Moors kept up their impressive form by getting through to the next round of the FA Trophy, writes Tom Feaheny.

A goal in each half one by Mark Anderson and the other by Andrew Johnson ensured they made the next stage.

"We started well but we got stronger and stronger, I'm delighted with the result and performance," Ainsley told the club's website.

"We have played a team from a league higher who have had a decent set of results in recent weeks, we knew we had to perform.

"I told the lads to not undo the hard work of the 120 minutes from mid-week and we did just that and more.

"It's an honour to be so far in this competition and going into the next round, I don't think many teams would want to face us at home."
