Ainsley: My Players Gave Their All

Despite a 3-2 loss at Stockport County for Spennymoor Town manager Jason Ainsley was proud of the way his side played.

A hat-trick from Jason Oswell meant Town lost this game by a fine margin, writes Tom Feaheny.

"I think it was hard to take, plenty were here and they saw what a good side we are, we deserved our opening goal, we could have gone 2-0 up, then they got their goal but I'm proud of the players," Ainsley said.

"We go 2-1 down then get back to 2-2, it was frustrating as we've lost 3-2 but Shane Bland hasn't had a save to make, we've played worse and won.

"Every players out there gave everything for the club, I'm more proud of them tonight then after some wins.

"If we play like we did most weeks, we won't be far away."
