The Yorkshire club ran out easy 5-1 winners at the New Bucks head as Telford had a second half they would much rather forget this afternoon.
But instead of forgetting about a nightmare game and focusing on Tuesday’s match with Stockport County, Edwards will instead analyse where things went wrong.
“For the first time this season I have been disappointed - I haven’t seen us really go under before, but I have seen that today,” the former Wolves star said.
“We were organised in the first half, playing well and at half time the message was keep in the same against one of the best sides in the league at the moment.
“The second half we didn’t win enough second balls. We lacked a competitive edge and we have got to go away and have a proper look at it.
“We spoke about being brave, we showed it in the first half but we didn’t in the second. We lost our way with set pieces and we didn’t do our jobs.
“I can’t say too much more until I have watched the game back but we have clearly got to be better than that.”
