Yussuf scored 14 league goals as the Moors defied all pre-season odds to mount a title challenge.
Eventually losing out to AFC Fylde in the play-offs, Yussuf's departure will be a bitter blow to Tim Flowers who was confident his side could challenge again.
"I would just like to say I've had a great two seasons," the frontman wrote on his Instagram.
"But after weeks of negotiations, unfortunately me and Solihull could not come to an agreement with a new contract, a new challenge now awaits me.
The Seasiders announced the 27-year-old's capture this afternoon and he is confident he can handle the jump to the EFL.
“This is a dream come true for me," he told his new club's official website. "All the hard work and sacrifices I’ve made this year have paid off.
"I just want to give a big thanks to everyone that believed in me and everyone at Solihull. I’m sure I can do it in this league.”
