A Reason To Smile! Stones Win Race For Jai

Maidstone United have signed Jai Reason as they beat off a number of clubs to confirm his signature.

The experienced midfielder finished last season with the Stones` league rivals Boreham Wood after joining from Eastleigh in February.

He made more than 250 appearances for the Spitfires during a five-year spell.

Reason started his career with Ipswich Town, playing for the Tractor Boys academy prior to going professional with the Suffolk club in 2008.

He went on loan to Cambridge United the following year and then made a permanent switch to the Abbey Stadium.

Appearances for Crawley Town and Braintree Town followed ahead of the move to the Silverlake Stadium in 2012.
