A Night Of Massive North and South Matches Ahead

Tonight’s National League South fixtures sees plenty of the challengers in action with leaders Dorking Wanderers hoping to stay there, and they’re back in front of their own fans.

Tonbridge Angels arrive looking to knock them off their perch and one thing is for sure in this division - if you slip up, someone will take advantage.

Second-place Worthing are at home and it’s a cracker of a Tuesday night as they take on fifth place Torquay United. But revenge could be in the air after the Rebels’ 5-1 FA Trophy win five weeks ago.

A number of the other chasers also have home games. Maidstone United meet Aveley, who desperately need wins with the club 11 points from safety.

Eastbourne Borough welcome Hampton & RB, whose great run was ended by title chasing Truro City and the Tinners take on Farnborough in Cornwall.

Boreham Wood can’t find consistency and good friends Luke Garrard and Daryl McMahon meet as Hornchurch and in-form Darren McQueen want to cause another stir.

There’s big National League North games by the bucket load this evening too.

Table toppers Chester want to get back on track straight away after their great run ended on Saturday - but Kidderminster Harriers have their own repair job to carry out, they’ve taken only one point from a possible nine.

The match looks set to sell out and it's not the only big game.

Scunthorpe United are loitering, but opponents Curzon Ashton have beaten some big names this season and know another scalp could push them back within sight of first place again.

Two other contenders clash as well. Chorley, going for a fourth straight league win, welcome Brackley Town who are looking strong in third place.

A couple of sides trade blows down the bottom as Marine take on Rushall Olympic with Warrington Town needing to find some form and fast, they’re at Leamington.

Elsewhere, Buxton welcome South Shields, both Spennymoor Town and Radcliffe know where the goal is as Alfreton Town face Darlington and Oxford City take a trip to Peterborough Sports.
