A Festive Feast On A Day That Had Almost Everything!

It was a festive feast with thrillers everywhere you look - and even a goalscoring goalkeeper!

Chesterfield don’t plan on stopping anytime soon and showed no mercy as the crushed Aldershot Town 4-1 to end the day an incredible ten points clear.

Josh Stokes put the visitors in front before Darren Oldaker quickly levelled. They then turned the screw and further goals from Ryan Colclough, Will Grigg and Armando Dobra fired them well clear at the top.

Barnet off the boil? Well not today. They hit rivals Boreham Wood for six. Nicke Kabamba with a hat-trick to keep his impressive season going.

Paul McCallum isn’t having a bad one either - he scored again as Eastleigh defeated Dorking 2-1.

There were thrillers elsewhere. Hartlepool United showed the stomach for the fight and the left Wealdstone with a 4-4 draw, pictured. Mitch Hancox struck a leveller very late on.

Ebbsfleet goalkeeper Mark Cousins did the same - an incredible equaliser at York City earned a dramatic 1-1 draw.

Olufela Olomola thought he had turned Bromley’s home game with Altrincham on its head.

His two quick fire goals put them ahead against Altrincham but Alex Newby had other ideas - his stunning free-kick handed Phil Parkinson’s team a share of the points in a thriller.

Gateshead came from behind to deflate Oldham Athletic, Louis Storey’s goal on the hour made him the Heed hero.

What a day for Southend United. They are very close to a new takeover after contracts were exchanged and a 2-1 win at Kidderminster Harriers topped it all off. Nathan Ralph got the winner.

Jack Stevens left it late to compete Solihull Moors’ turn around at Oxford City while Chris Beech’s first game after being confirmed as AFC Fylde’s new manager ended in a 1-1 draw against Dagenham.

Michael Doyle also started with a point as Woking couldn’t find a way past Maidenhead United.

Play-off hunters FC Halifax Town and Rochdale played out a thriller - Jimmy Keohane with the leveller for Jimmy McNulty’s men.

Tamworth move level on points with National League North leaders Scunthorpe United.

The Lambs eased to a 4-1 win against Peterborough Sports, Dan Creaney’s late double rubber stamping the points. The Iron couldn’t break down Buxton and had to settle for a point but stay top on goal difference.

Chorley could still challenge - a 4-0 win over Curzon Ashton underlined their quality. Justin Johnson got another goal.

Jimmy Knowles got two as Boston United defeated Alfreton Town 3-1.

In the big game at the bottom. Bishop’s Stortford’s season has life after leaving Darlington 2-0 winners. Ryan Charles and Osman Sow got the goals - and played the second half with ten men.

Aidan Rutledge was in form again for Scarborough as his goal flattened Brackley Town.

Hereford keep on winning. Jason Cowley’s 91st minute effort sent Spennymoor home heartbroken.

Elsewhere there were wins for an Adan George inspired Rushall who added to South Shields woes, King’s Lynn who thumped Southport as well as Warrington and Farsley Celtic.

Yeovil Town’s lead in the National League South was extended to eight points.

A Frank Nouble goal was enough for a win at Eastbourne Borough as second place Torquay United went down 2-0 a Chelmsford City.

Hampton & RB overtake the Gulls - a Ben Seymour brace helped down Weston-super-Mare, who went ahead at the Beveree through Rex Mannings.

Maidstone United went down at home to Chippenham after Jack Evans’ match settler. There were two goals deep into injury time as Taunton and Tonbridge drew 2-2.

Bath City blitzed Welling United 4-0, Scott Wilson got them on the way with another to add to his tally.

Shaun Jeffers is back in the goals groove and St Albans City impressed in their 3-0 victory at inconsistent Dartford.

John Goddard hit the net as Slough Town won 2-0 at Aveley and Farnborough edged Braintree - Aaron Kuhl’s penalty the difference.

Tyler Harvey ended Havant & Waterlooville’s great run as Truro City claimed a big three points in their season while Hemel Hempstead were too strong for Worthing.
