A Big Name Striker Returns As Deadline Day Heats Up

An all-time Vanarama National League great returned on Deadline Day as our clubs get set for the run in.

Kabongo Tshimanga has booked a return to former club Boreham Wood – the prolific striker returns to Meadow Park on loan from Peterborough United.

Woking have signed midfielder Curtis Edwards on loan from Norweigan outfit Stabaek.

Southend United have tied down another big name.

Harry Cardwell – who has 12 goals to his name this season for the Shrimpers – becomes the latest name to sign a new contract.

It’s been a busy day for Bromley too with the Ravens adding two new recruits.

Ashley Charles arrived first from fellow Vanarama National League side Wealdstone, with Kamarl Grant also joining on loan from Championship Millwall.

Havant & Waterlooville have snared a familiar name as Alfy Whittingham returns to the club from Hampton & Richmond on loan.

Another player returning to an old stomping ground is Cian Hayes who re-joins Rochdale from Fleetwood Town.

One out at Chester as Zack Clarke joins Welsh side Caernarfon Town.

Eastleigh have loaned Ben Greenwood from AFC Bournemouth while the Spitfires also bring in David Longe-King from Dagenham & Redbridge.

Not content with two – Richard Hill also brings in Ben Reeves as he looks to get their play-off push back on track in February.

Spennymoor Town have borrowed striker Mikael Ndjoli from Hartlepool United for the remainder of the season.

New Pools boss Kevin Phillips was busy last week, securing the signings of Luke Waterfall and Otis Khan from Grimsby Town. Courtney Senior also headed to the North East from Barnet.
