A Baby, Birthday And Barrow Win, Means Most Hectic Week For Hall

By Tom Feaheny

Barrow skipper Asa Hall has described the last week as hectic, with him helping the side to a win at FC Halifax Town.

A 1-0 victory against the Shaymen ensured moved seven points clear of the drop zone, writes Tom Feaheny.

"It has been one of the most hectic weeks of my life, first I spent four days in hospital, my beautiful daughter was born, then it was my birthday so to top it off with a win makes it a great week.

"I think the performance showed what we are becoming, hard to beat with that quality that can get you victories."

A number of impressive results have followed since Ady Pennock was named boss and Hall says a number of positive changes have led to the up turn in form that they want to replicate at home.

"Ady has come in and to be honest training has become more structured, there is a clear purpose to each session and the lads are buying into it.

"Our away form is great, we have that momentum you need to be able to go to tough grounds and get the wins, we aim to turn up our home form now."
