3G Pitch? No Problem For Dover Says Kinnear

By David Richardson

Dover Athletic travel to Hayes Lane tomorrow for their FA Cup fourth qualifying round replay - and Bromley's 3G pitch isn't a concern for visiting manager Chris Kinnear.

The two Kent rivals played out a 0-0 stalemate on Saturday at Crabble and now have to do battle again for the £12,500 in prize money and a place in the first round.

Bromley won at Dover earlier in the season and now have the home advantage in the replay but Whites boss Kinnear isn't concerned about playing on their plastic pitch.

He said: "We're on a good run. Obviously we'd have liked to have won at home but the other team has a say about that. They made sure we couldn't break them down. We had a few chances and it wasn't to be but we'll go away from home, and like we do every game, try and win.

We tend to do quite well away from home. We're not bad on 3G either. I think we're unbeaten on 3G pitches in this league over the last couple of years. That's not going to faze us, its just another game we've got to go out and win."
