100 Up For A Delighted Greaves

FC United of Manchester player-manager Tom Greaves saw his side pick up an impressive win against Harrogate Town while becoming the club's top goalscorer.

A special day for Greaves saw the club get the three points while Greaves scored his 100th goal for the club, writes Tom Feaheny.

"Getting 100 goals for this club, that feeling that emotion, it lived up to everything I thought it would," Greaves told FCUM Radio.

"There no better feeling than scoring goals for this lot, in front of the fans.

"The amount of people that had told me to give it up, this was the moment that meant everything to me."

His two goals helped them defeat the high-flying Harrogate Town side 3-2, Greaves couldn't have been prouder.

"The lads have got the freedom and attack and go for it, we weren't undone fitness wise, when we had the ball I was delighted, we drove with the ball, we went for it.

"We changed the formation a little bit, I though 4-4-2 left us a little short in midfield, 3-5-2 works for us, we want to keep a good run going."
