Chorley FC have announced The Chorley Group as their main club sponsors for the forthcoming 2017/18 season writes Josh Vosper.

This marks the businesses tenth consecutive year supporting the Magpies in a move that will see them working closely with the Vanarama National League North team, across a broad spectrum of commercial activities.

Andrew Turner, chairman of The Chorley Group said: As a local business we are thrilled with this exciting partnership once again. At The Chorley Group we are proud to be working with a team whose hard work and determination has seen them targeting promotion in a highly competitive league. We look forward to working together with Chorley FC on a number of initiatives that will enhance the visibility of both of our brands, whilst providing a platform for fans and our customers, to benefit from the partnership.

Ken Wright, charmain at Chorley FC said: Im delighted The Chorley Group are supporting us for a tenth consecutive season. I very much look forward to partnering with them to grow both our distinct brands. We have an exciting climax to the season, as we push for promotion to the top tier of non-league football and over the moon that the business will be joining us once again as we continue to create a new reality and future for our club.

Launched in 1989 from Andrews home, he traded as the Bulge Inn Motor Co. However, his sights were firmly set on developing a reliable brand of family business, devoted to serving the region with well-priced cars and a service to be trusted. This was quickly evident when the first Chorley Group Nissan showroom opened and became the largest volume Nissan dealer in Europe.

Since then, the group has gone from strength to strength, acquiring sites in multiple north-west locations and developing a family business that is trusted and respected throughout the country. Branches are far and wide including Blackpool, Burnley, Preston, Wigan, Blackburn, Southport, Manchester and Bolton.
