He then rounded off the day with a 94th minute, 35-yard screamer to give
the Reds a vital 1-0 victory.
Lowe, who turns 21 later this month, joined the club in the summer of 2016
having been released from Burnley.
As a triallist at FC United he scored a sublime goal in a pre-season match
against Mossley AFC - a game that also saw fellow Burnley triallist Jason
Gilchrist bag a hat-trick.
Lowe’s first-team debut came on the very first match of the season away at
Chorley where he came on a substitute.
On his home debut, he came off the subs bench to score 4 minutes from time
to seal FC United’s 2-0 win over Stockport County.
Lowe appeared in all but three of FC United’s first sixteen matches, but a
cartilage injury kept him out of the side for the following thirteen games.
Lowe returned as a substitute on New Year`s Day against Altrincham, and has
featured in all but one match since.
Lowe was back on the scoresheet against Chorley at home in the recent 3-3
draw with goal from 25 yards out, and he followed this up by two exquisite
long-range efforts in our 3-2 comeback away at Gloucester City, he second from
inside his own half.
And to prove his goals from distance were no fluke, he then scored arguably
FC United’s best ever goal on Saturday against Tamworth.
