25-year-old, who arrived at Prenton Park at the beginning of this season from
Wrexham, has recently recovered from an injury lay-off which kept him out of
action for three months.
He has made a
dozen appearances for Rovers so far this season, scoring one goal against
Boreham Wood back in August.
Micky Mellon said: “We feel that it is important for Connor to go out and play
some regular first-team football after returning to full fitness.
“He is going to
a good club and will get a run of games with Macclesfield which is what he
needs at this present moment”.
