National League Statement: Braintree Town

The following statement has been released by The National League this afternoon:
The National League Board has deducted one point from Braintree Town for fielding an ineligible player in National League South matches earlier this season.
The club admitted the charge and was found guilty of a breach of Rule 6.9 for its player Marc-Anthony Okoye playing whilst suspended by the Football Association.
The National League South table has been amended accordingly.
