After their tremendous showing in the FA Emirates Cup last season the cameras will return to Gander Green Lane as Sutton United will host relegated Leyton Orient.
It has been a turbulent close season for the East London outfit but they have now been subject of a takeover so confidence has been restored in their future.
With a 3G surface to face and as of yet no manager in place the O's will have not only a stern test from United but the footballing world will be watching to see how their first game ever in the Vanarama National is played out.
It will also be a major test for Sutton United with several new players keen to show their skills and ability in front of the camera's. Paul Doswell will relish the opportunity to make the opening day even more special for fans and players and to demonstrate that the club learned a lot from their exploits against the likes of Leeds and Arsenal, so there should be no fear factor when the O's come to town.
BT Sport will also be able to talk to club officials and for fans to see first hand the improvements made at the stadium from the financial windfall they earned during their fantastic cup run.
The match has therefore been rescheduled for a lunch time kick off at 12.30pm.
